EKCEP Thanks Former Governor Paul Patton for Ten Years of Service on their Workforce Innovation Board

Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (EKCEP) extends its deep gratitude to former Governor Paul Patton for his exemplary service to the Eastern Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board (EKWIB). Patton has recently stepped down from the EKWIB, which he has faithfully served since 2015, providing invaluable leadership and guidance for the past decade.

Throughout his tenure, Governor Patton has been a tremendous supporter of EKCEP’s initiatives aimed at strengthening Eastern Kentucky’s workforce. His dedication to our region has been evident in his unwavering commitment to fostering growth and expansion.

“On behalf of EKCEP, I want to express our sincere appreciation to Governor Patton for his 10 years of dedicated service on the Workforce Innovation Board,” said Becky Carnes-Miller, Executive Director of EKCEP. “His leadership, insights, and commitment to Eastern Kentucky have been invaluable. We are deeply grateful for his contributions.”

Governor Patton’s presence on the board has been an asset not only for EKCEP, but for all of his fellow board members. Because of his decade of service, the workforce system for Eastern Kentucky is in a better place.

At EKCEP, we are profoundly grateful to have had his support and expertise on our board for the past ten years, and we wish him the best in his next chapter. His contributions will leave a lasting legacy and continue to inspire our work for years to come.
