Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. (EKCEP) seeks a full-time Career Navigator to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorder in obtaining employment and training.

Job duties will be performed for clients within the following counties: Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Taylor, Wayne, and Whitley.

This position involves providing a range of engagement services, OUD/SUD training, technical assistance, and support services to participants and employers. A bachelor’s degree and experience in social services, business, and/or peer support are preferred.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Identifying employer partners willing to provide transformational employment opportunities for recovering individuals.
• Developing partnerships with opioid/substance-affected treatment providers to create job opportunities for individuals in recovery.
• Creating individualized employment plans for enrolled participants.
• Documenting case management activities within required timeframes.
• Travel approximately 50–60% of the time.

Make a lasting impact in Eastern Kentucky. EKCEP is seeking a Recovery Workforce Program Coordinator to lead a five-year initiative funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) within our Recovery & Reentry department across an eight-county service area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project implementation, annual workplans, and federal reporting.
• Oversee data collection and reporting to SAMHSA’s SPARS system.
• Serve as the primary liaison to federal project officers and community partners.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 2+ years in workforce development or behavioral health programs. Experience serving individuals affected by substance use disorder is preferred.
• Requirements: Ability to travel across the eight-county service area (Breathitt, Knott, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Owsley, Perry, and Wolfe). Valid driver’s license, reliable internet, and strong communication skills required.

• Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt/Hourly
• Work Location: EKCEP Service Area with reporting to the EKCEP Office in Hazard, Ky. This position is remote eligible.
